Sonlight Center Accepting Summer Registrations

March 12, 2009

The photo caption is as follows: Sonlight students Andrew Raas, Tenley Smith, Grace Tiako, Alain Raas & Jacob Raymond recently made suet bird feeders within Sonlight Child Development's Nature program. Helping the students with their feeders are teachers Angie Spransy, Linda Mordy, and Betty Elmer.

Sonlight Child Development Center in Mequon is now accepting enrollment of children ages 6 weeks to 5 years for their upcoming summer program. The summer program will include exciting opportunities for children to experience the outdoors within Sonlight's own Nature area where they can learn from their wonderful "Nature Lady", enjoy small hiking adventures, experience their onsite butterfly garden, water play, and participate in many more opportunities of outdoor fun. Additionally, Sonlight offers a music program, Computer Tots, arts and crafts, gym activities, and cooking fun with skilled and experienced teachers.

Sonlight Child Development Center is open year round with a highly experienced teaching staff, and is open weekdays from 7am until 6pm. Their philosophy is “Learning through Play in a Nurturing Environment.” Sonlight Center is also accepting children for fall enrollment at this time. Interested families are invited to call the Sonlight office at (262) 242-4770 to obtain information about the next scheduled Open House. More information is available on their website, www.sonlightcdc.org.
