First Annual Family Frolics

Gathering on the Green and Elite Sports Club present Family Frolics, a family-friendly fundraiser to benefit Gathering on the Green’s Youth Programs, on Sunday, April 22 from 4pm-7pm at Elite Sports Club-Mequon. Gathering on the Green is a non-profit organization which coordinates a weekend performing arts festival and offers a music and arts camp to disadvantaged Milwaukee youths.

This event will offer plenty of family fun and will highlight the 2012 Gathering on the Green theme of Music in the Movies. The cost per family is $45 in advanced when purchased through the Gathering on the Green website, at Elite Sports Clubs, Next Chapter Book Shop and Learning Shops. The cost per family is $55 the day of the event when purchased at Elite Sports Club-Mequon.

The entry fee includes complimentary food and non-alcoholic beverages as well as a large variety of healthy activities the whole family will enjoy.

Swimming
Elite Sports Clubs features salt-water pools where families can play water polo, participate in scuba and snorkel demonstrations, or join in the open swim in the instructional pool.

Games and Guided Activities
Families will be able to join in on basketball, volleyball and dodge ball games as well as camp-style games themed to popular children’s movies. Children will even be able to learn soccer skills from Milwaukee Wave players!

Family-friendly Exercise Classes & Activities
Elite Sports Club trainers will lead 20-minute classes throughout the event. Families can join in yoga, Zumba and hip-hop/flash mob dance classes in addition to Target tennis and a family obstacle course.

Elite’s Cardio Theater
Elite Sports Club offers a movie room where families can cool down and watch your children’s favorite movies– pop in for their favorite song then jump back out for another activity.

Just for Mom & Dad
Enjoy a beverage with complimentary chair and hand massages from Elite Sports Club staff.

Elite Sports Clubs offers a playroom where younger children can be dropped off with a caretaker for an extra fee. Advanced notice is required for infants at (262) 241-4250. Children not included in an Elite Sports Club Family Membership will be billed at the following rate for children who are able to walk well on their own: 1 Child, $6.00/hour; 2 Children, $9.00/hour; 3 Children, $12.00/hour. Parents with infants will be charged an extra $1.00/hour per infant. The time limit for children is two hours and the time limit for infants is 90 minutes.
