MUMC Christmas Cantata December 19

Mequon, WI—December 3, 2010--Mequon United Methodist Church cordially invites the public to attend worship on Sunday, December 19 at 9:30am for a Christmas Cantata performance by the MUMC Sanctuary Choir, "Follow The Star, Follow The King: The Journey From Darkness To Light". This special seasonal cantata will be conducted by Richard Hynson, Musical Director of both the Bel Canto Chorus and the Milwaukee Chamber Orchestra. This unique performance spotlights distinctive blends of scriptures anticipating and celebrating the coming of the Christ, with music capturing the mystery and majesty of this most holy season.

 

Refreshments will be served following the performance. Mequon United Methodist Church is located at 11011 N. Oriole Lane, about a quarter mile west of Port Washington Road off the Southside of Mequon Road. If you would like further information, please call the MUMC church office at (262) 242-4770.
