Grab your mug, put on your lederhosen and come on out for Oktoberfest! The United German Societies at the Bavarian Inn invite you down to Heidelberg Park to celebrate this traditional fall festival with brass bands, overflowing German beers, pigs roasted on spits and Schuhplattler dancers.
This year Oktoberfest is running for four weekends; every Friday and Saturday from September 10 through October 2. On Fridays the grounds open at 5 pm and on Saturdays the grounds open at 4 pm. There will be no early admittance. Tickets are $5 at the door or $4 in advance. Tables can be reserved for 8-10 people for $20 by calling (262)646-8048. Heidelberg Park is located behind the Bavarian Inn at 700 W. Lexington Blvd. in Glendale.
