1Three unlocked cars were entered in the 9000 block of North Tennyson Drive late Feb. 24 to early Feb. 25. A checkbook taken from one car was found with no checks missing on Tennyson and Brown Deer Road on Feb 25. One resident reported missing about $12 and eight to 10 compact discs.
2An unlocked car was entered but nothing taken in the 1100 block of E. Heritage Road Feb. 24 or 25.
• A resident received a call from Jamaica saying he won a lottery worth millions and needed to send some money in order to collect it Feb. 26. The resident did not send money.
3A 23-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for possession of marijuana and driving while revoked with a prior conviction when stopped for no license plate in the 5200 block of West Brown Deer Road at 5 p.m. Feb. 13. The man, who never had a Wisconsin license, said it was his girlfriend's car. Eight bags of marijuana weighing 11 grams were found in his right shoe. The man said the drugs were only for him because he smoked "a lot of marijuana."
4A 33-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for possession of marijuana and driving while suspended after being stopped for speeding 38 mph in a 25 mph zone in the 6500 block of West Dean Road at 3:30 p.m. Feb. 16. The man had hidden more than 2 grams of marijuana in an orange mitten. He admitted smoking the drug and knew it wasn't a good idea but it helped him to relax because he cares for five children, three of whom are his.
5A 43-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for drunken driving and driving while suspended after being stopped for having the wrong license plate on the car in the 4500 block of West Bradley Road at 12:30 a.m. Feb. 18. The man admitting putting another car's plates on this one but did mean to get it registered. His blood-alcohol content was 0.12.
6A 17-year-old Milwaukee boy was arrested for obstruction, driving while suspended and failure to stop for a school bus in the 7800 block of North Sherman Boulevard at 7:25 a.m. Feb. 18. The bus had red lights flashing and stop arm raised. The boy resisted arrest, called an officer a vulgar name and said he wanted to "kill all Brown Deer police officers."
7A 28-year-old Antigo man was arrested for obstruction after giving a false name, his brother's, when he was seen stumbling into the road in the 7600 block of North Teutonia Avenue at 1 a.m. Feb. 20. The man, who was on parole with a no-drinking order, admitted lying because he had been drinking and "had to try." His BAC was 0.181.
• Two domestic violence incidents were reported this week.
• A resident reported being the victim of fraudulent use of his credit card that occurred Jan 31 at a café in Milano, Italy, and reported Feb. 18. His card had been used three times on that date: one charge for $287 and two identical charges of more than $358.
8A 33-year-old Auburn, Mich., man was arrested for drunken driving in the 7800 block of North Regent Road at 2 a.m. Feb. 19. His BAC was 0.10.
9A 19-year-old Green Bay man was arrested for possession of one ounce of marijuana after the car he was in was stopped for a burned out taillight in the 8500 block of North Port Washington Road at 1:30 a.m. Feb. 24. The driver, 41, the passenger's father, of Green Bay, was arrested for driving after revocation and a warrant for resisting/obstruction.
10A 43-year-old Brown Deer man was arrested for drunken driving after an officer witnessed him stopping two car lengths from an intersection, driving 20 mph in a 40 mph zone and lane deviation in the 6800 block of North Green Bay Avenue at 1:45 a.m. Feb. 17. His BAC was 0.17.
11A man reported the theft of items valued at more than $800 including a wallet, a $400 cell phone, keys, credit cards, Social Security card, a $250 silver money clip and $150 cash from his locked locker at LA Fitness, 501 W. North Shore Drive, at 1:30 p.m. Feb. 17. The locker door had been broken open.
12A 23-year-old Milwaukee woman was arrested for felony fleeing, driving while suspended with a prior conviction, unregistered vehicle, failure to secure a child in a safety restraint and resisting arrest after she was stopped in the 1100 of West Silver Spring Drive at 5 p.m. Feb. 18. As the officer returned to his squad car to verify her information, she sped west on Silver Spring Drive, running a red light at 25th Street. She was arrested at her residence in the 6000 block of North 35th Street.
13A 48-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for disorderly conduct and theft of five steaks valued at $45 from Pick 'n Save, 1735 N. Silver Spring Drive, at 7:15 p.m. Feb. 18. The man hid the steaks in his jacket then purchased a case of bottled water and left the store. An employee followed him and the man threw some of the water at the employee. Later, he admitted taking the steaks because in the past, he said, the store had over-charged him and this was his way to get even.
14A 51-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for theft of four bottles of fragrance valued at more than $200 from Kohl's, 5650 N. Bayshore Drive, at 1:30 p.m. Feb. 22.

15A 24-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for theft of 263 candy bars valued at more than $86 from Pick 'n Save, 4145 N. Oakland Ave., at 8:45 a.m. Feb. 20. The man stuffed the bars into his jacket - some were multi-packs - and fled the store. He was stopped a few blocks away telling police he took the candy because he was hungry.
16A 23-year-old Shorewood man, an 18-year-old Milwaukee woman and 22-year-old Milwaukee man were the victims of battery by two men in a residence in the 3500 block of North Oakland Avenue at 1 a.m. Feb. 21. The fight was reportedly over beer. The men punched the woman, fractured the nose of one of the men and broke a tooth of the other and then fled in a van.
17A 16-year-old Milwaukee boy was arrested for possession of marijuana with other drug offenses pending after a witness reported three boys in an alley behind the 1700 block of East Newton Avenue at noon Feb. 25. A 15-year-old Milwaukee boy and a 16-year-old Shorewood boy were arrested for loitering.

18The gate, boards, hinges and latch of a wooden driveway fence were hit by an unknown vehicle causing more than $500 damage in the 5700 block of North Lake Drive between Feb. 20 to 22.
19A 15-year-old Whitefish Bay boy was arrested for possession of marijuana after his father called police in the 5900 block of North Shoreland Avenue at 7:30 p.m. Feb. 22. The same boy was arrested for disorderly conduct the morning of Feb. 23.
20A garage was broken into and a car's windshield broken causing $275 damage in the 4800 block of North Berkeley Boulevard on Feb. 23 or 24. Nothing was reported missing.
21A 21-year-old West Allis man was arrested for drunken driving when he failed to stop at a sign in the 6300 block of North Lake Drive at 2:45 a.m. Feb. 24. His BAC was 0.10.
22A Shorewood woman reported the theft of her wallet from her purse left unattended at Sendik's, 500 E. Silver Spring Drive, about 5 p.m. Feb. 25. Before the theft was discovered there were charges on credit cards at stores in Bayshore Town Center. The theft was caught on surveillance video.
23A glass bottle holding an unknown liquid was thrown through a window causing $400 damage in the 5200 block of North Diversey Boulevard about 11 p.m. Feb. 25.
24Two windshields were broken and entry gained but nothing taken in the 5200 block of North Idlewild Avenue and an alley behind the 4800 block of North Bartlett Avenue between Feb. 25 or 26. Damage was more than $200 for each window.
25A $100 Samsung cell phone was taken from a locked locker at Dominican High School, 120 E. Silver Spring Drive, before 10:30 a.m. Feb. 26
26Two bottles of vodka and a bottle of cognac valued at more than $100 were taken From Sendik's, 500 E. Silver Spring Drive, on Feb. 26. The theft was caught on video.
NORTH SHORE FIRE DEPARTMENT
• Firefighters responded to 105 calls, 78 emergency medical and 27 fire/rescue, the week of Feb. 22 to Feb. 28.
27A resident reported a "strange order of something burning" in the basement in the 2500 block of East Lake Bluff Boulevard, Shorewood, at 2:15 p.m. Feb. 22. Firefighters reported a "very dirty condition" with a strong odor of cat urine and possibly burning dust. The home owner was advised to have the water heater and boiler serviced.
