BAYSIDE

• A 32-year-old Fox Point man was arrested for drunken driving and driving while suspended after he was stopped for suspended plates in the 300 block of West Brown Deer Road at 9:35 a.m. Oct. 31. His blood-alcohol content was 0.25.

• A 19-year-old Sheboygan woman was arrested for drunken driving, lane deviation and operating while suspended in the 8800 block of Interstate 43 at 11:50 p.m. Oct. 31. Her BAC was 0.11.

• A 33-year-old Shorewood man was arrested for drunken driving and an expired license after he was seen driving erratically in the 9600 block of I-43 at 3:45 p.m. Nov. 2. His BAC was 0.18.

• A 40-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for drunken driving and lane deviation on West Brown Deer Road at I-43 at 2:30 a.m. Nov. 7. His BAC was 0.15.

• A 36-year-old Kenosha man was arrested for his fifth drunken-driving incident and a citation is pending for driving east in the west lanes on Brown Deer and Port Washington roads at 4:18 a.m. Nov. 8. His BAC was 0.19.

BROWN DEER

• A man reported that his vehicle had been scratched while parked at the YMCA, 9250 N. Green Bay Road, between 9 and 10:40 a.m. Oct. 26. Damage was more than $1,400.

• Three Eau Claire teenagers, an 18-year-old woman and two-17-year-olds, male and female, and two boys and a girl, 16, home towns not available, were cited for underage drinking after a noise complaint at Candlewood Suites, 4483 W. Schroeder Drive, at 12:30 a.m. Oct. 30. The teens, who were in town to play soccer, all denied drinking at first. Their blood-alcohol contents ranged from 0.04 to 0.08. When police arrived, two of the teens were found hiding in the shower and four empty bottles of alcohol were in the room.

• A 29-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for drunken driving after being stopped for an expired registration in the 7900 block of North Teutonia Avenue at 1:15 a.m. Oct. 31. The man said he had two "Long Islands" before leaving work at a restaurant. His BAC was 0.127.

• A 51-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for drunken driving after being stopped for a burned out tail light in the 7600 bock of North Teutonia Avenue at 2 a.m. Nov. 4. His BAC was 0.164.

• A car stereo and wallet with a value of more than $250 were taken from a car parked in Lowe's employee lot, 6300 W. Brown Deer Road, the morning of Nov. 4. Damage to the dash was $50.

FOX POINT

• A 19-year-old Bayside man was cited for possession of marijuana, and two 15-year-old boys, of Fox Point and Bayside, for possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia when an off-duty North Shore firefighter saw them smoking marijuana in the parking lot of McDonald's, 8739 N. Port Washington Road, at 9:50 a.m. Oct. 29. When police arrived, the suspects were inside the restaurant and one said he was on his way to the gym and liked to smoke marijuana before working out. Another said he bought the marijuana at Summerfest and kept it in his wallet. The drug paraphernalia found included rolling papers, foil, razor blades and a straw with white residue. All were issued municipal citations.

• A 29-year-old Fox Point man was arrested for drunken driving and given a 15-day correction notice for expired registration in the 1000 block of East Thorn Lane at 1 a.m. Nov. 1. He failed field sobriety tests and had a BAC of 0.12.

GLENDALE

• A 14-foot orange and yellow kayak valued at $1,500 was taken from a river bank in the 600 block of West Rock Place between Oct. 23 to 25. Also missing was an oar valued at $50.

• A 31-year-old South Milwaukee man was arrested for disorderly conduct in the 7300 block of North Mohawk Avenue at 3:20 a.m. Nov. 1. The man, who kicked at a door and refused to leave, was intoxicated. His BAC was 0.228.

• A resident reported an identity theft after receiving notice of more than $900 in fraudulent charges to her Educators Credit Union MasterCard on Nov. 1. The purchases had been made in Miami, Fla., where the resident had never been.

• A 41-year-old Milwaukee woman reported being the victim of an attempted robbery at La Quinta Inn, 5110 N. Port Washington Road, the evening of Nov. 2. The woman was in a room with a man she had met in Milwaukee and knew only by the name of "Cash." After they had been intimate and the man gave her $15, he hit her on the back of the head with a gun and demanded her money. When asked if she was admitting to prostitution, she said no because he had just given her the money. She had not asked for it.

• A 23-year-old Milwaukee woman was arrested for trespassing, obstruction and disorderly conduct after entering Gymboree and Kohl's at Bayshore Town Center, 5800 N. Bayshore Drive, at 7:45 p.m. Nov. 2. She had been cited for trespassing previously and told not to return. When arrested she gave police a false name and tried to walk away. When stopped, she said, "Get your (expletive) hands off of me … get your (expletive) finger out of my face."

• A 16-year-old Glendale boy was arrested for carrying a concealed weapon, a box cutter, in the 300 block of West Richter Place at 7:45 p.m. Nov. 2.

• A Stihl leaf blower valued at $500 was taken from a landscaper in the 6800 block of North Port Washington Road before noon Nov. 3.

• Two 15-year-old girls and a 13-year-old girl, of Milwaukee, were arrested for taking more than $180 of clothing from Sear's, 5900 N. Port Washington Road, at 7 p.m. Nov. 3.

• Two Milwaukee men, 21 and 29, were arrested for uttering after passing counterfeit $100 bills at Zumiez, Journeys and Victoria's Secret in Bayshore Town Center the afternoon of Oct. 29. The men had purchased T-shirts and perfume valued at about $15 each from the stores paying with the counterfeit bills. None of the salesclerks held the bills up to the light or they would have seen the image of Abraham Lincoln and the number five. One of the men had two more counterfeit bills. Both men denied knowing the bills were counterfeit saying they got them while gambling.

• There was one domestic violence reported this week.

RIVER HILLS

SHOREWOOD

• A 21-year-old Shorewood man was arrested for supplying alcohol to a minor, a 17-year-old Shorewood girl, outside Pick 'n Save, 4145 N. Oakland Avenue, at 3:15 p.m. Oct. 28.

• Three people reported thefts while at a party in the 2200 block of East Stratford Court on Oct. 30 to 31. A cell phone, money and credit cards were taken during the party attended by more than 30 people. An attempt to use at least two of the credit cards was reported.

• A 49-year-old West Allis man was arrested for theft at Pick 'n Save, 4145 N. Oakland Avenue, at 7 pm. Oct. 31. He took a package of Angus ground beef, opened it and grabbed a handful. He then took a container of salt, opened it, and poured some on the meat and ate it. When confronted by an employee, he put the opened meat and salt back on a shelf. The man, 6-feet tall weighing over 200 pounds, said he hadn't eaten in two days and was hungry.

• A 22-year-old Shorewood man, an employee, was arrested for theft at Thompson's Serv-U Pharmacy, 1421 E. Capitol Drive, at 5 p.m. Nov. 3. The man tried to leave the store with a half bottle of 80 mg tablets of OxyContin.

WHITEFISH BAY

• An 80-gigabyte digital media player valued at $250 was taken from the girls locker room at Whitefish Bay High School, 1200 E. Fairmount Ave., between 8:40 and 9:30 a.m. Nov. 4.

• An 18-year-old Glendale woman was arrested for violation of absolute sobriety in the 5200 block of North Lake Drive at 2:31 a.m. Nov. 5. Her BAC was 0.034. Another 18-year-old Glendale woman was cited for underage drinking. Her BAC was 0.011.

• A 57-year-old Whitefish Bay woman was arrested for her third drunken-driving incident after a resident called police to report an intoxicated woman had stopped to ask for directions in the 5100 block of North Woodruff Avenue at 9:15 p.m. Nov. 5.

• An unknown amount of liquor was taken by two men who concealed the bottles and fled in a car from CVS Pharmacy, 240 E. Hampton Ave., at 7 p.m. Nov. 7.

• Two domestic violence incidents were reported this week.

NORTH SHORE FIRE DEPARTMENT

• Firefighters responded to 120 calls, 84 emergency medical and 36 fire/rescue, between Nov. 2 and Nov. 8.

• A grass fire was reported near Dean Elementary School, 8355 N. 55th St., at 4:10 p.m. Nov. 5. An area of about 50-by-15-feet was burning and put out quickly. According to a report "this was obviously an intentionally set fire."
