1A 60-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for drunken driving after a 911 call reporting an erratic driver who had sideswiped a wall northbound on Interstate 43 at West Brown Deer Road at 6 p.m. Oct. 1. The man, who admitted having four or five beers, failed field sobriety tests almost falling over doing the one leg stand. His blood alcohol content was 0.16.
2A 55-year-old Bayside man was cited for disorderly conduct after reportedly cutting branches off a neighbor's tree damaging one of them and being disorderly with police in the 8600 block of North Greenvale Road at 3:30 p.m. Oct. 7. When police arrived, the man would only speak to them through a window and used coarse and suggestive language.
3A 28-year-old Thiensville woman was arrested for drunken driving in the 8800 block of North Port Washington Road at 4 a.m. Oct. 9. The woman, who admitted having three drinks, had a BAC of 0.20.
4An 18-year-old Milwaukee man is a suspect in the theft of two tablets and a keyboard valued at $550 at American TV, 6700 W. Brown Deer Road, at 7 p.m. Sept. 19. The man was recognized as the same man who had stolen items in Brookfield and Glendale. An arrest warrant was requested.
5A 28-year-old Franklin woman was arrested for forgery and illegal possession of a Schedule II narcotic after she and a man cashed two counterfeit $100 bills at the café at Rite Hite YMCA, 9250 N. Green Bay Road, at 4 p.m. Sept. 20. They each purchased a coffee or soda costing about $5 and paid with one of the bills. The clerk thought the bills suspicious and called police. The woman said she got the bills from an ATM machine. When told ATMs don't give out $100 bills, she changed her story a number of times.
6A 47-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for theft from Pick 'n Save, 9200 N. Green Bay Road, at 3:30 p.m. Sept. 21. The man loaded a cart with 15 cans of coffee valued at about $160 and put a bag of dog food on top of the cans and left the store. When arrested, he denied the theft saying he found the cart with the items outside the store and thought someone paid for them and left them for someone to take. Surveillance video showed him taking the items from the store.
7A 28-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for drunken driving, with a prior conviction, driving after revocation and a warrant for drunken driving in the 8000 block of North 60th Street at 3:10 a.m. Sept. 30. He was taken for a blood draw.
8A 26-year-old Milwaukee woman was arrested for drunken driving with two prior convictions in the 4300 block of West Bradley Road at 2:15 a.m. Oct. 1. The woman said she drove in the wrong lane and hit the curb, not because she'd been drinking, but because she was confused adding she wanted to "be honest" and did have one beer "but that doesn't amount to anything." Her preliminary BAC was 0.17 and she was taken for a blood draw.
9Two 16-year-old girls, a 17-year-old girl and two males 16 and 18 all of Brown Deer were cited for underage drinking in the 9000 block of North Silver Brook Lane at 12:30 a.m. Oct. 2. There preliminary blood alcohol contents ranged from 0.028 to 0.053.
10A 29-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for drunken driving, driving with a suspended license and suspended registration, failure to have insurance, driving left of center and inattentive driving in the 4900 block of West County Line Road at 5:15 a.m. Oct. 2. His excuse for almost hitting a squad car while driving west in eastbound lanes was that he was just following what "his navigation" was telling him to do and pointed at a GPS unit on the dashboard. He was taken for a blood draw.
11A GPS unit, a radio and change with a total value of more than $175 was taken from a car in an underground garage in the 4000 block of West Rivers Edge Circle on Oct. 3 or 4. There was no sign of forced entry.
12A 32-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for drunken driving, driving while suspended, two warrants and speeding 57 mph in a 40 mph zone in the 7900 block of North Teutonia Avenue at 2 a.m. Oct. 5. The man had bloodshot eyes but not because he was drunk, he said, having had only two beers at his aunt's house. His eyes were bloodshot because he had just smoked marijuana before being stopped. His BAC was 0.14.
13A 32-year-old Milwaukee woman was arrested for drunken driving, possession of marijuana and suspended registration for unpaid parking tickets in the 4800 block of West Good Hope Road at 2 a.m. Oct. 6. She denied drinking because she had only one point left on her license. She then admitted having two beers. She also had 0.7 grams of marijuana in her pocket. Her BAC was 0.14.
Two domestic violence incidents were reported this week.
14A 16-year-old Bayside boy was arrested for possession of 0.07 grams of marijuana and two girls, 16 of Franklin and 17 of Glendale, for underage drinking after a complaint of loud and unruly teens in a parking lot in the 8600 block of North Port Washington Road at 11:30 p.m. Sept. 30. There was a strong odor of marijuana in the boy's car and at first he denied smoking the drug saying it was a friend. He then admitted he had smoked the drug and told police there was some in his locked glove box. The Glendale girl had a preliminary BAC of 0.22 and the Franklin girl 0.03.
15A wallet was taken from an unlocked dorm room at Cardinal Stritch University Assisi Hall, 6750 N. Port Washington Road, on Sept. 1 or 2. All credit cards were cancelled.
16Two Milwaukee girls, 14 and 16, were arrested for theft and the older girl also for obstruction at Boston Store, 5701 N. Lydell Ave., at 5:30 p.m. Sept. 30. The girls left the store without paying for clothing valued at $274. The older girl gave a false name and birth date. She was released to a "relative." Later, a man called saying the girl arrested was not his daughter and gave her real name. She was arrested again Oct. 1.
17A 53-year-old Union Grove woman was arrested for drunken driving and refusal to take a breath test after pulling into a private lot in the 400 block of West Bender Road at 1 a.m. Oct. 2. The woman, who refused to take a breath test, was chewing a few sticks of gum and failed field sobriety tests.
18A 15-year-old Glendale girl was arrested for theft of 11 fashion watches valued at $325 from Kohl's, 5650 N. Bayshore Drive, at 4 p.m. Oct. 2. The girl took the watches which were in boxes into a fitting room and when she left, only empty boxes remained. The girl, who hid the watches in her sleeves, told police she didn't know her address and gave a phone number that came back out of order.
19A 14-year-old Milwaukee girl was arrested for theft of clothing valued at more than $250 from Boston Store, 5701 N. Lydell Ave., at 10:45 a.m. Oct. 3. The girl ran from the store and dropped the items as she ran. When her mother was called, she said she hadn't seen her daughter for two weeks and her daughter had missed school for two weeks.
20A 57-year-old Greenfield man was arrested for theft and trespassing after loading a cart with items valued at more than $700 and leaving Pick 'n Save, 6969 N. Port Washington Road, at 9:45 p.m. Oct. 3. When approached by store employees, the man left the cart and got into a car but was stopped. He had two warrants for thefts at other food stores telling police, "It's just a corporation. I would never steal from a person."
21A 23-year-old Milwaukee woman was arrested for disorderly conduct after causing a disturbance over her paycheck at Taco Bell, 5560 N. Port Washington Road, at 10:15 a.m. and again at 3:15 p.m. Oct. 4. The woman, who had been let go, became furious when told paychecks would be ready later, and police were called. Police suggested, the manager mail the woman's check so she wouldn't return. The manager mailed the check but the woman did return and once again made vulgar and threatening comments. She also fought with police.

Graffiti was reported on the stone bridge near the tunnel leading to Hubbard Park, 3565 N. Morris Blvd., on Oct. 4 and on a roof vent in the 4000 block of North Oakland Avenue on Oct. 5. Damage was $200 and $300, respectively.
22A liquor bottle was thrown through a front window at Ferrick Funeral Home, 2025 E. Capitol Drive, on Oct. 5 or 6. Damage was $150.
23More than 80 DVDs were reported taken over the last few months from Blockbuster Video, 4108 N. Oakland Ave., at 12:30 p.m. Oct. 6.
24Two aluminum ladder jacks and holders valued at $460 were taken from a front yard in the 3800 block of North Farwell Avenue on Oct. 6 or 7.

25A 62-year-old Milwaukee man was cited for failure to yield after he drove into an intersection and a bicyclist hit his car on Lake Drive at Belle Avenue at 3:15 p.m. Oct. 2. The bicyclist, 19 of Grafton, was taken to a hospital.
26A 31-year-old Greenfield woman was arrested for drunken driving, possession of drug paraphernalia, failure to have insurance, not wearing a seat belt and imprudent speed after she hit two parked cars and attempted to flee in the 5500 block of North Diversey Boulevard at 5:30 a.m. Oct. 3. She was taken for a blood draw.
27A 16-year-old Milwaukee boy was arrested for possession of marijuana and delivering drug paraphernalia to a minor at Dominican High School, 120 E. Silver Spring Drive, at 10:30 a.m. Oct. 4.
28An 18-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for underage drinking, bringing alcohol into a park and violation of park hours at Klode Park, 5900 N. Lake Drive, at 1:15 a.m. Oct. 5. Two 18-year-old women of Grafton and Menomonee Falls were cited for violation of park hours.
29A 39-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for drunken driving, not wearing a seatbelt and improper parking after he was found unresponsive in his car in the middle of the 4900 block of North Lake Drive at 4:30 a.m. Oct. 5. An officer tapped on the window then pounded on it but the man did not respond. He was awakened and said he was heading to North Third Street. He did not give a breath sample, instead spitting into the mouth piece. He was taken for a blood draw.
30A 38-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for drunken driving, no proof of insurance and suspended registration in the 100 block of West Hampton Avenue at 3 a.m. Oct. 8. His BAC was 0.14.
31A 27-year-old Whitefish Bay man was arrested for loitering/prowling in the 700 block of East Beaumont Avenue at 6 a.m. Oct. 8. A witness called police after seeing the man enter a home through an unlocked door. He was found passed out on the front porch.

Firefighters responded to 145 calls, 101 emergency medical and 44 fire/rescue, Oct. 3 to Oct. 9.
North Shore Fire Dept. responded 15 times to the odor of gasoline in the 1300, 1400 and 1500 blocks of East Capitol Drive and the 4000 block of Wilson Drive Oct 5 to 9.
