BAYSIDE

1A resident reported the theft of her 2005 Chevy Equinox from the 8800 block of North Port Washington Road at 9 p.m. April 17. She had lent it to a friend on April 15 and it had not been returned.

BROWN DEER

2A 30-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for theft and a warrant after taking clothing valued at $170 and fleeing from Old Navy, 9094 N. Green Bay Road, at 1 p.m. April 3. He and another man drove away ending up at a dead end on Ruth Place. Both ran from the car and one got away.

3A 25-year-old Milwaukee woman was arrested for possession of 1.1 grams of marijuana, driving while suspended, no insurance and speeding 55 mph in a 35 mph zone in the 7700 block of North Sherman Boulevard at 8:30 a.m. April 4. The woman, who admitted never having a driver's license, also admitted she had forgotten the marijuana was in her possession.

4A 15-year-old Brown Deer boy was arrested for carrying a concealed weapon, a knife with a 3-inch blade, at Brown Deer High School, 8060 N. 60th St., at 1:45 p.m. April 4. The boy said he had it to protect himself from drug dealers and rapists.

5A 31-year-old Milwaukee woman and a 54-year-old Mequon man were cited for trespassing after they were found in a car on private property, partially undressed, in the 4700 block of West Bradley Road at 11 p.m. April 6. The two said they were "friends."

6A digital media player valued at $150 was taken from a car while the owner shopped at TJ Maxx, 9020 N. Green Bay Road, between 6 and 7 p.m. April 7. Damage to a window was $150.

7A resident reported his parked car had $900 damage after a hit and run in the 4600 block of West Bradley Road between 7 and 9 p.m. April 7.

8A 53-year-old Wauwatosa man described as "extremely intoxicated," was given medical assistance and taken for treatment after being found unconscious on the floor, surrounded by vomit at the Holiday Inn Express, 4443 W. Schroeder Drive, at 10:45 p.m. April 11. Two empty bottles of vodka were found in the room.

FOX POINT

9A 53-year-old Glendale man was arrested for drunken driving, with two prior convictions, driving after revocation and given a warning for driving without lights in the 8300 block of North Port Washington Road at 1 a.m. April 10. His preliminary blood alcohol was 0.21.

10A concrete pig statue valued at $75 was taken from the front steps of a residence in the 8000 block of North Poplar Drive during the day April 12. A note was left reading in part, "We have your pig. The pig will die if you call the FBI." The victim is a college professor.

GLENDALE

11A 20-year-old Milwaukee woman was arrested for disorderly conduct after witnesses reported her hitting a man in a wheelchair at Bayshore Town Center, 5800 N. Bayshore Drive, at 2 p.m. March 27. The suspect denied hitting him saying they were "just playing." She then admitted being angry because he wheeled away while they were looking for an engagement ring. He said she hit him because he talked to another woman. He also said she has hit him before and no one does anything to help.

• Two 15-year-old Glendale girls were arrested for disorderly conduct after fighting on a school bus on the way to Nicolet High School, 1701 N. Jean Nicolet Road, at 11:45 April 5. The driver had to stop the bus and with the help of other students stop the fight. A parent came to the school to show threats the other girl made to his daughter that were posted on Facebook.

12Two 15-year-old Milwaukee girls were arrested for theft of items valued at $300 at Boston Store, 5701 N. Lydell Ave., at 4:30 p.m. April 6. They had a booster bag with clothing inside, some taken from Forever 21. One girl denied taking anything saying "her friends" had done it. She couldn't name the friends nor explain why she was carrying the stolen clothing.

13An 18-year-old Bayside man, a Nicolet High School student, was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia and a 15-year-old Milwaukee boy for trespassing at the school, 6701 N. Jean Nicolet Road at 2:45 p.m. April 7. The student was taken to an office after a report he was under the influence of drugs. The boy was found sleeping in the student's car and was cited since he'd been warned March 10 not to return to the school. There was a strong odor of marijuana in the car and a few smoked "roaches" in the ashtray. Also found were rolling papers and a rolling devise, all belonging to the student.

14An 11-year-old Glendale boy was arrested for criminal damage to property after hitting a car with golf balls in the 1700 block of West Silver Spring Drive about 9:30 p.m. April 8. The driver of that car called police and followed the boy who was dressed in camouflaged clothing, army boots and wearing a helmet inscribed with "Born to kill" and appeared to be carrying a rifle with a crowbar sticking out of his backpack. Also in that backpack were a number of inactive rounds of ammunition. The rifle was a wood replica. When asked about hitting the car, the boy said, "I might have done it" but then said, "I promise I didn't do it." He was turned over to his father who agreed to pay for damages.

15Two Glendale girls, 14 and 15, were arrested for theft from Kohl's, 5650 N. Bayshore Drive, at 5 p.m. April 9. They admitted taking items valued at $335.

16Two tires and two rims valued at $1,500 were taken from a Honda Fit at David Hobbs Honda, 6160 N. Green Bay Ave., April 10 or 11. That side of the car was found on crates.

17A computer, GPS unit, a digital reader and camera valued at $3,500 were taken from a truck parked at a construction site in the 5200 block of North 26th Street about 10:30 a.m. April 13. The man left his truck, which was unlocked, for just a few minutes and when he returned the items were gone.

RIVER HILLS

No reportable incidents this week.

SHOREWOOD

18Seven students, ages 16 to 18, were cited for truancy from Shorewood High School, 1701 E. Capitol Drive, on April 12. The students had missed from 11 to 65 days from Feb. 1 to April 5.

19Thirty Percocet pills valued at $20 were taken from the 1700 block of East River Park Court on March 26 and reported April 13.

20A $300 bicycle was taken from an unlocked garage in the 1700 block of East Olive Street on April 8 or 9.

21A 29-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for drunken driving, with a prior conviction, driving after revocation, failure to install an interlock device and speeding 40 mph in a 25 mph zone on Shorewood Boulevard Oakland Avenue at 2:40 a.m. April 10. A passenger admitted he had been drinking and was getting a ride home. The driver, at first, denied drinking but then said he had one or two. His BAC was 0.13.

22A burglary was reported in the 3500 block of North Murray Avenue on April 10 or 11. The resident first noticed that her radio was gone, then her laptop, then her purse with her keys inside. She went to the garage and discovered that her $24,000 Toyota Prius was also stolen. It was recovered in the 3900 block of North Palmer Street in Milwaukee.

• Unsecured garages were entered in the 3500 blocks of North Murray Avenue and North Cramer Street on April 11. The only item reported taken was a GPS unit valued at $250 from North Cramer.

• A resident reported that he was the victim of fraud after sending $350 to a person in Jamaica on April 12. The caller told the man he won a $1.5 million lottery and in order to receive his winnings, he had to send the money.

23A 20-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for theft of alcohol from Pick 'n Save, 4145 N. Oakland Ave., at 9 p.m. April 13. The man was caught on surveillance video taking vodka, gin and tequila valued at $137.

WHITEFISH BAY

24A 17-year-old Milwaukee boy was arrested April 6 for theft at Whitefish Bay High School, 1200 E. Fairmount Ave., on April 4. The boy, a student at the school, reportedly took cash and personal belongings from both the boys and girls locker rooms.

25A 17-year-old Whitefish Bay girl was arrested April 14 for theft of $15 from a backpack in the girls locker room at Whitefish Bay High School on April 11.

26A 33-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested on two counts of obstruction/resisting after being stopped for riding his bicycle without lights in the 800 block of East Silver Spring Drive at 11:55 p.m. April 11. The man gave a false name and then resisted arrest and had to be Tasered.

27An AM/FM CD player valued at $300 was taken from a car in the 4900 block of North Marlborough Drive during the day April 12. Damage to a window was more than $150.

28A 47-year-old Whitefish Bay man was mailed a citation for trespassing after he entered a home without permission in the 4800 block of North Elkhart Avenue at 3:45 p.m. April 12. The resident called police after the man left. Police called the man who admitted entering the home because the door was open with only the screen closed.

29A 23-year-old Milwaukee man was mailed a citation for possession of 0.03 grams of marijuana after he and another Milwaukee man were found smoking the drug at Klode Park, 5900 N. Shore Drive, at 5:15 p.m. April 13.

30A 24-year-old Milwaukee woman was arrested for carrying a concealed weapon, driving with a suspended license and failure to have insurance in the 4700 block of North Wilson Drive at 1:35 a.m. April 14. The woman had a machete "tucked inside" the driver's door.

31A GPS unit valued at $115 was taken from an unlocked car in the 5200 block of North Hollywood Avenue overnight April 14 or 15.

32A 2008 Acura, with the keys in the ignition, was taken from an unlocked garage in the 5400 block of North Hollywood Avenue overnight April 14 or 15. The car was found in the 1200 block of East Singer Circle on April 15. A cell phone was missing from the car.

NORTH SHORE FIRE DEPARTMENT

• Firefighters responded to 108 calls, 89 emergency medical and 19 fire/rescue, April 11 to April 17.

33A natural gas odor was reported in the 5600 block of North Argyle Avenue, Glendale, at 7:30 a.m. April 17. A resident told firefighters that his neighbor had a bad furnace, but the neighbor said he was unaware of it. The home had carbon monoxide levels as high as 24 PPM and when We Energies arrived they found the furnace had a cracked burner plate. It was shut off and the home ventilated. No injuries were reported.

34Smoke was reported coming from a parking lot in the 9000 N. Green Bay Road, Brown Deer, at 3:30 p.m. April 18. A flower pot used to dispose of cigarettes was on fire. It was doused with water.
