Aliza Monique Riley and Nicholas Thomas Werner were married July 11, 2009, at Doctor's Park in Fox Point.

Parents of the bride are Timothy Riley and Robin Gerson, both of Glendale. Parents of the groom are Eric and Mary Jo Werner of Franklin.

Rabbi Ronald Shapiro officiated the 3:30 p.m. ceremony, which was followed by a reception at the Milwaukee Athletic Club in Milwaukee.

The bride wore an ivory, organza strapless ballgown with beadwork and floral embroidery and a cathedral-length train and veil. She carried a bouquet of peonies, cymbidium orchids, freesia, zinnias, scabiosa, lisianthus and hydrangea.

Maid of honor was Zari Talebi of Milwaukee, friend of the bride. Bridesmaids were Shaina Riley of Glendale, Kaelyn Riley of Glendale, Chelsea Riley of Mexico City, Katie Willems of Burlington and Megan Sprecher of Cleveland. Junior bridesmaid was Gabrielle Werner of West Allis. Bridesmaid-in-training was Mya Werner of West Allis.

Best man was Nathan Pamperin of Wauwatosa, friend of the groom. Groomsmen were Steven Weiand of West Allis, Andrew Werner of West Allis, Shelly Blohowiak of Milwaukee, Gregory Quinn of Madison and Joseph Roth of New Berlin. Junior groomsman was Sean Quinn of Madison.

Flower girl was Ella Quinn of Madison, friend of the groom. Ring bearers were Nathan Baake of Hales Corners and Caden Roth, both friends of the groom.

Ushers were Jacob Gagas and Jeffrey Seidner, both of Milwaukee.

The bride, who is a 1999 graduate of Nicolet High School, earned her bachelor's degree in deaf studies from Boston University in 2003 and is pursuing her master's degree in curriculum and instruction from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. She is a third-grade teacher in the Glendale-River Hills School District and a photographer with Aliza Werner Photography.

The groom, who is a 1997 graduate of Whitnall High School, earned his bachelor's degree in finance from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and his master's of business administration from Marquette University in 2007. He is a senior financial analyst with Reader's Digest Association.

The couple honeymooned in Bali, Indonesia, for two weeks.

They reside in Wauwatosa.
