Jennifer Van Lue and Kurt Festge were married Sept. 5, 2009, at sunrise in Klode Park, Whitefish Bay.

Parents of the bride are Dan and Klaartje Van Lue of Lone Jack, Mo. Parents of the groom are Mike and Doreen Festge of Mequon, formerly of Whitefish Bay.

The Rev. Daniel Ruen officiated the 6:20 a.m. ceremony, which was followed by a reception at Shully's, Thiensville.

Maid of honor was Becca Van Lue of Lone Jack, sister of the bride.

Best man was Mike Tutaj of Chicago, friend of the groom.

Flower girls were Brigette and Sonya Ricaurte of Northbrook, Ill., and Gretchen Jacobson of Manitowoc, all nieces of the groom.

Assistant to the pastor was Sam Jacobson of Manitowoc, nephew of the groom.

The bride, who earned her bachelor's degree from DePaul University and her master's degree from the University of Chicago, is the director of group homes for Misericordia.

The groom, who earned his bachelor's degree from DePaul University, is a multi-media engineer.

Following brunch, friends and relatives camped at Devil's Lake for the weekend to continue the celebration.

The couple honeymooned in Hawaii for three weeks. They reside in Chicago.
