Teri Bomzer and Evan Benn were married May 16, 2009, at Brynwood Country Club, Milwaukee.

Parents of the bride are Charles and Lynne Bomzer, River Hills. Parents of the groom are Niles and Joyce Benn, York, Pa.

The Rabbi Evan Moffic officiated the 5:30 p.m. ceremony, which was followed by a reception at the Brynwood Country Club.

The bride wore a Melissa Sweet, strapless satin duchess gown and carried a bouquet of purple and white calla lilies.

Matron of honor was Kara Schuchman, West Bloomfield, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Wesley Youman, Barrington, Ill.; Ivy Kaplin, New York; Naomi Pilosof, San Francisco; Jennifer Rozbruch, New York; and Rachel Benn, Lutherville, Md.

Best man was Merrick Benn, brother of the groom, Lutherville, Md. Groomsmen were David Parsly, New York; Craig Vaiman, Chicago; Adam Lafer, New York; Michael Turner, New York; Larnelle Foster, Brooklyn, N.Y.; Samuel Shapiro, Congo, Africa; and Gabriel Schuchman, West Bloomfield.

Ring bearers were Aaron Schuchman, West Bloomfield, nephew of the bride, and Ashton and Seth Benn, Lutherville, Md., nephews of the groom.

The bride, who earned her bachelor's degree at Northwestern University in Evanston, Ill., and her medical degree at Loyola University in Maywood, Ill., is a medical resident at Washington University. She enjoys running and traveling.

The groom, who earned his bachelor's degree in journalism from Northwestern University, is an editor at the St. Louis Post-Dispatch. He enjoys cooking and traveling.

The couple honeymooned in Barcelona and Costa Brava in Spain for two weeks. They reside in St. Louis.
