Nicolet German Honor Society member Ella Dierberger acts the role of Sophie Scholl, a University of Munich student who organized The White Rose resistance group to actively oppose the injustices of the Nazi regime in Germany in 1942. Sophie, her brother Hans and four other students along with their philosophy professor were found and executed by the Nazis. The historically-based exhibit was visited by dozens of school groups as well as the public during the March 5th through 9th period.
