Milw. County Softball Playoffs begin Aug. 22
Seventy six teams are scheduled to play in the Milwaukee County Park’s 2010 Softball playoffs at Wilson and West Milwaukee Park sponsored by Miller Lite. The first game will be played on Sunday, August 22 at 6:00 pm. The championship games will be played on August 27 beginning at 6:00 pm.
“The playoffs bring people around the county into the tournament,” said Dan Roddy, Wilson Park Unit Coordinator. “The teams had to earn the right to the playoffs.” Most teams had to have the best record in their league or win a tiebreaker game to advance.
The public is welcome to attend all games for free. Food and beverages will be available. Brackets and game results are available at countyparks.com. For further information call (414) 257-8030.
