HOW YOU ARE A SUCKER...
The right-wing manipulators and greedy people are counting on you to buy their snake oil, hook-line-and-sinker. They have put their propaganda worms in the water and you have been biting. You are too easy. It is absolutely amazing how easy you are to trick and catch. OK sucker, here are some examples of how you are viewed by these greedy scavengers, and how you think you are so smart in believing them...[Incidentally, the greed is more unevenly distributed by the right-wing selfishness, but it occurs in both major political parties...and you are the sucker for both of them].
"We have some income and profits to protect. We shall have to come up with a scheme to give us more tax breaks and special contracts. Let's get the populace to blame all taxes and make us look good."
Your response: "We are over-taxed. Corporations and the rich are the ones who create jobs. They deserve a better tax break so we can have a job."
"Our corporate wealth and system requires us to have wars periodically so we can make money from production. Let's get the people to think we are protecting them with our military strength."
Your response: "We cannot spare any expense to give our brave men and women the best military equipment. The military budget and expenditures protect our great nation."
"Sure, I'm making lots of money. But I want to keep it. I need tax breaks. Besides, just because those 'brains' in school are hurting financially, so what? Nobody told them to go into teaching or social work!"
Your response: "We have to cut the budget. The teachers only work 9 months a year. And all that social work stuff is frivolous and unnecessary. Besides, they teach too much of that 'sex stuff' in school. My kids would never have sex at 15 years old. We have to cut all this stuff and reduce taxes. We need readin', writin', and 'rithmatic and some good ole fashioned religion taught in our schools."
So suckers, belly up to the right-wing bar and fill your face with some good ole fashioned mythology. We don't need those smart-ass, educated nerds to tell us what is right. We have Romney, Rove, Cheney, Todd Akins, Ryan, the Koch brothers, etc. to explain it all to us. Those are people I can believe in.
