Russ Feingold Thinks You're an Idiot
When it comes to predicting the outcome of the Senate race in Wisconsin this fall, it is currently considered a tossup. This of course means that there will be a plethora of advertising between now and November 2. And as the case is with all political advertising, the facts are being twisted so that you draw a different conclusion from what actually has occurred in the past few years. Like all progressives, Russ Feingold is banking on you not paying attention to what he has been doing and only basing your judgment on his performance on what he will spoon feed you through his ads.
Senator Feingold is coming out with advertising saying that he is on your side. When did this start? When he pulled into the studio to record some advertisements? Feingold wants you to think that he was going against the Democrat caucus by voting against the financial reform bill that recently passed. Actually, Feingold do not think that the bill regulated enough. And when Democrats seek more oversight, it usually means saying goodbye to some of your freedom and liberty.
Feingold also voted for the 862 billion-dollar stimulus package which has turned out to be an utter failure. Why doesn't he include that in his advertisements? Another glaring omission is his proud vote on health care reform. Having passed months ago, the Democrats think that after it had passed, that people would begin to like it. Well, we've seen what's in it and the opposition to it still grows. Over half country would like to see this bill repealed.
Feingold isn't going to tell you about the action that is taking to extend tax cuts that were signed into law by the previous administration. He can't because he is not taking any action to do so. Translation-your taxes are going up. Way up. Also left out of the propaganda and advertising for the Senate race is how much the Democrats are chomping at the bit to pass a value added tax in a lame-duck session after the election. So in addition to income taxes rising, you're also going to be required to pay a national sales tax. Don't expect any breaks from the state.
Feingold is also not telling us about his proud vote for the recent teacher union bailout. The Democrat semantics call it the aid to states Bill. The people who voted for this bill, took money away from the poor people that Democrats always like to help, and diverted it to teachers who belong to unions. That is because they know that war campaign contributions will come from unions than the will from poor people. They even claim that this bill is paid for by cutting spending in other areas. Why is it that Democrats can only cut spending when they want to spend it in other areas? They can only give to Paul while taking from Peter. Why not let Peter and Paul keep what they themselves are? Oh, that sounds like too much liberty.
There is a choice this election. We can continue with the same failed policies that have continued to ruin the economy for the past year and a half. Or we can vote for change. Sounds a lot like 2008, doesn't it? That's because the results of the 2008 election were a huge mistake. Election day is coming quickly, maybe we can still get America back on track before any further damage is done.
